Rudy's dad is an all-around good guy. He's a clappin' you on the back, bear huggin' kinda dad who loves his son Rudy, but doesn't really understand his obsession with drawing. He'd rather have Rudy take an interest in the traditional family business: BUTCHERING! Sounds gross, right? Rudy would tend to agree. But even if his dad doesn't totally understand him, he's still proud of Rudy for being who he is.
